Anti-Racism Resources for Educators, Parents and Children

At Freshwater we have been deeply moved by the recent events which has led to a worldwide resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement.

We believe that education is an important instrument to enact change. We wanted to share some of the most useful anti-racism resources we have found during our period of learning and reading over the last few weeks. These are resources we believe educators and pupils will particularly appreciate.

Whilst working remotely and at a reduced capacity, we still continue to have conversations about how we as a company can educate ourselves and learn from the this movement, and then how we can share this with educators and children in the future.

We intend to update this blog regularly. The resources below may be best suited to share with colleagues, parents or pupils directly themselves. Some resources have age guidance or are more suitable for teachers rather than pupils, so please use your discretion before disseminating any of the following material.
