Black History: A Celebration

Subject: History
Age Group: 5-11 Year Olds (KS1 & KS2)
Available in London

Celebrate Black history with this specially created large group session. As your children discover more about the abolition of slavery and the Windrush generation, they will also encounter some unsung heroes from Black history.

We have several versions of this session to suit different key stages. Key figures across these sessions include: Septimius Severus, a Roman Emperor; Elijah J McCoy, a Canadian inventor and engineer; and Connie Mark, activist and poet from the Windrush generation.
