1st - Start of the Second World War, 1939
• Second World War: Immerse yourself in the blackouts, rationing and evacuations of Home Front Britain as your class imagines what life was like for children during the Second World War. Read more.
 
4-10th – Great Fire of London, 1666
• Great Fire of London: Experience London in 1666 as we recreate life in Pudding Lane, meet the famous diarist Samuel Pepys and debate the rebuilding of the city. Read more.
 
8th – International Day of Literacy
From story quests down Dickensian streets to international tales from Asia and Africa, our Literacy, Storytelling and Shakespeare series has something to delight all primary ages.

1st-31st - Black History Month

4-10th – World Space Week 
To celebrate World Space Week, check out our awe-inspiring space series featuring science, storytelling and history workshops.
 
5th – World Teachers' Day

1st-30th – Anti-Bullying Month
• Staying Safe: Anti-BullyingLed by the Knight of Knowledge, children look at different types of bullying and exploring the best strategies for dealing with bullying. Read more.
 
5th – Bonfire Night
• Guy FawkesJoin our Time Traveller on a journey back to 1605. Meet Guy Fawkes and the King, and uncover the Gunpowder plot. Watch your class learn and participate in debates. Read more.
 
11th – Remembrance Day
Explore life in the trenches, air raids and evacuations in an engaging, sensitive and age appropriate way with our First World War or Second World War sessions. 
 
14th – Diwali
Celebrate the Festival of Lights this October with one of our mesmerising storytelling or creative movement workshops. Explore the meaning and traditions of Diwali, or learn more about sacred tales including the story of Rama and Sita. Explore our workshops.
