Science Drama Workshops for KS1 & KS2

The Exploratorium

Drama workshop for KS1 & KS2

The Exploratorium is an interactive drama workshop led by one of our experienced drama facilitators for classes of KS1 or KS2 students. Our specialist science workshops are available for a range of science topics including Electricity and Forces.

Upon entering a secret laboratory, the children will meet an eccentric scientist who is in a state of panic. The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) machine, the Exploratorium, is in great danger of imploding. Its information fuel tanks are almost empty! Can the children’s knowledge and enthusiasm about science save it? Will the appearance of the disgruntled monster bring their mission to a halt?

This lively workshop is filled with fun and facts, and is available for the following topics:

  • Space
  • Electricity
  • Light and Shadows
  • Plants and Growth
  • Forces and Motion
  • Healthy Eating
  • Animals - their habitats and life cycles
  • Weather and Seasons
  • Sound
  • Materials

Or... tell us your topic and we'll create a workshop just for you!

The show met all our expectations and we would definitely use Freshwater Theatre Company in the future.
