Freshwater Theatre Company

Freshwater Theatre Company have been delivering drama activities to support the primary curriculum since 1996.

As one of the largest theatre-in-education companies in the UK, we provide high quality drama activities to support history, geography and science, as well as provision for Modern Foreign Languages, maths and cross-curricular topics. We also have a variety of story workshops and large group storytelling activities.

• Our interactive group sessions involve one facilitator visiting the school and working with a class of up to 30 children at a time for one hour. These sessions use a variety of drama activities to explore the topic.

• Our large group activities involve one facilitator visiting the school and working with up to 120 children at a time for one hour. These sessions involve interactive storytelling in which every child will feel involved.

• Our history shows involve two facilitators visiting your school with a small set, and working with up to 120 children at a time for 80 minutes. The children will take part in solving tasks related to the historical time period.

Where we work

 London
This session is available to schools in Greater London and those just outside of the M25. Also available to most parts of Essex and south Hertfordshire.

 West Midlands and South West
This session is available to schools in the West Midlands and the South West (Birmingham and surrounding areas, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Bristol and surrounding areas, Somerset and Wiltshire).

 Greater Manchester
This session is available to schools in Greater Manchester.

 Oxfordshire, Berkshire, South Buckinghamshire and Kent
This session is available to schools in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, south Buckinghamshire and Kent.
