Geography Drama Sessions
These geography workshops, suitable for Reception and KS1 students, are led by one facilitator and are packed with drama activities to bring the topics to life. They have links to many cross-curricular topics such as Rainforests, the Environment, Global Village, Our World, Water and Overseas Localities. They are also fantastic for bringing characters alive during your Book Week celebrations.
Where in the World is Baxter Bear?
Drama workshop for Reception & KS1. Mexico and France are just two of the colourful global destinations that Baxter, the friendly travelling bear, will take you to and where together you'll make lots of exciting, new discoveries. Along the way there's improvisation, chants and songs and a chance to learn some simple Spanish and French.

An Island Home - Katie Morag
Drama workshop for KS1. Take a ferry across the sea to Katie Morag's island home of Struay, in Scotland. With songs, role play and story props the island and many of Katie's adventures are brought to life in this drama workshop, packed full of georaphy and literacy links. Take a tour around the island and discover the mysterious Castle McColl, meet Grannie Island's farm animals, greet Granma Mainland when she arrives off the ferry and join Katie Morag's family and friends in an energetic dance at the island ceilidh.

Baxter Bear's Rainforest Adventure
Drama workshop for Reception & KS1. The children, accompanied by the intrepid Baxter Bear, embark on their exciting journey to the rainforest. The planes, canoes and wobbly rope walkways will take the children deep inside the rainforest. As they push their way through the thick vegetation, the extraordinary animals, the unfamiliar sounds and the magical atmosphere are all brought to life.

St. Lucia, an Overseas Locality
Drama workshop for KS1 & KS2. The Caribbean island of St. Lucia is brought to life through drama and dance. Having arrived at the small island airport, the children take a coach trip to see the volcanoes, the rainforest creatures and the banana plantation. In the capital of Castries, they visit a school, meet a fisherman, enjoy a fabulous St. Lucian meal and practice their dance moves for the carnival.
