Drama workshop for Nursery and Reception
The Early Years' Story Hunt gives you the chance to bring a magical, activity-packed, interactive drama workshop to your Nursery and Reception class, adapted to suit your specific topic or theme and featuring a well known story or fairy tale as one of the activities.
Each Story Hunt complements the early years' goals of bringing music, dance, exploration and creative expression to the children. Equipped with their Hunters' Kit
, the children will investigate your chosen topic using rhymes, songs, puppets and stories in a unique blend of focused listening and expressive, interactive drama activities. Our drama workshops for nursery and reception also have literacy links to well known stories, as listed below.

- Ourselves - includes a People Who Help Us activity
- Minibeasts - includes an activity based around The Very Hungry Caterpillar
- Growing - includes an activity based around Jack and the Beanstalk
- Colour - includes an activity based around Elmer the Elephant
- Teddy Bears - includes an activity on Goldilocks and the Three Bears
- Festive Fun - includes activities featuring Santa and Rudolf
- Water - includes activities featuring Incy Wincy Spider and Nelligan's Pig

- French Fun - all your favourite activities such as meeting puppets, learning greetings, numbers and colours au francais
The Abacazoo Treasure Book
An activity workshop for Reception and Year 1. The children discover clues and solve tasks to journey through the pages of the Abacazoo Treasure Book and find the hidden treasure! On the way there is storytelling, rhymes, action songs, counting, dressing up, puppets and alphabet games.
