• What areas do you work in?

  We work in Greater London, Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas, the West Midlands and Greater Manchester, and also Kent, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Wiltshire and Somerset. Please see the What we offer page for full details.

• What are all the different types of sessions?

  We offer Interactive Group Sessions, Large Group Activities and History Shows. You read the full details of each format on the What we offer page.

• How far in advance do I need to book?

  We take bookings up to a year ahead (more if the school knows dates already) and we always encourage you to book as early as possible to ensure that you get your pick of preferred dates. However, we do understand it can sometimes be hard to know in advance exactly when the hall will be available and to make all the arrangements in school so as long as we have someone available to send to you, we are happy to take a booking as late as a few days before the visit.

• How do I book?

• How many children can I have in a session?

  For Interactive Group Sessions, we can accommodate 30 children per session. For History Shows, MFL Storytelling and Large Group Activities we can accommodate 120 children per session. Extra children are negotiable at £3 per head.

• Are all of your facilitators CRB checked?

  Yes, all of our facilitators possess Enhanced CRB checks in line with our Child Protection Policy.

• How much do you charge?

  You can see our full price list here.

• Are there any travel costs?

  Generally if you are within our catchment area, there are no travel fees. However, if you fall outside of our catchment area there may be extra travel costs for some sessions. We always try to keep travel costs to a minimum to ensure our work is affordable.

• Do we have to pay a deposit?

  No, we don’t require a deposit.

• Is there a cancellation policy?

  Yes, it’s written in our terms and conditions which you can read here.

• When do you arrive?

  For most of our interactive workshops and large group sessions led by one facilitator we will arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the session to set up in the hall, sometimes a little longer if the facilitator is changing into costume.
  
  For our History shows, the two actors will be bringing a small set, props and costumes so will arrive 45 minutes before the start of the show to set up in the hall. Please note they will also take 20-30 minutes to pack away afterwards.

• Do you have a risk assessment?

  Yes we do. It is a general risk assessment that covers all our work in schools. We have over 100 sessions available so do not have a specific risk assessment for each one. Please click to download a copy.
