These literacy, history, MFL and cross-curricular drama sessions and workshops are led by one facilitator and include lots of drama activities such as role play and hot seating. The workshops have links to many creative and cross-curricular topics such as Ancient Civilisations, Meet the Greeks, Incredible Egyptians, Olympics,Toys, Second World War, Victorians, Famous People, Invaders & Settlers and the Seaside.

Early Years' Story Hunt
Drama workshop for Nursery & Reception. The Early Years' Story Hunt gives you the chance to bring a magical, activity-packed, interactive workshop to your Nursery and Reception class, adapted to suit your specific topic or theme. Each Story Hunt complements the early years' goals of bringing music, dance, exploration and creative expression to the children. Equipped with their Hunters Kit
the children will investigate your chosen topic using rhymes, songs, puppets and stories in a unique blend of focused listening and expressive, interactive activities.

- Minibeasts - includes an activity based around The Very Hungry Caterpillar
- Growing - includes an activity based around Jack and the Beanstalk

Victorian Schooldays
Role play for KS1 & KS2. In this session your classroom will be transformed into a Victorian classroom set in 1899, with seating in rows and a range of Victorian school artefacts. The new schoolteacher will assess the standard of the class in various subjects, including handwriting, spelling, object work, drill, tables, arithmetic and history.

Great Fire of London
Drama workshop for KS1. This exciting workshop involves a variety of drama techniques to lead the children through the events of the Great Fire of London. The children recreate scenes of everyday life in Pudding Lane, the fire itself, the frantic escape, camping at Moorfields and making decisions about how to rebuild the city. They will learn about King Charles II, Samuel Pepys and the Lord Mayor of London along the way.

Florence Nightingale
Meet the person in role. The famous 'Lady with the Lamp' visits your school, bringing an array of artefacts, including her lamp. Florence will tell the children all about her life, from childhood memories, her time in the Crimean War, her meeting with Mary Seacole and her return to England. During the session the children get the chance to role play many scenes from her life.

The Magical Toy Museum
Drama workshop for KS1. Late in the day, when all the visitors have gone home, the children enter the Magical Toy Museum. Using their bodies, voices and imaginations the children will bring all sorts of toys to life. China dolls, threadbare teddy bears, clockwork robots and wooden trains are just a few of the toys, both old and new, that they will create.

Seaside Journeys
Drama workshop for KS1. Grab your buckets and spades and take an exciting journey back through time and visit seaside locations now, in 1970, 1950 and 1910. Whether they're entering a competition at Butlins, fishing for crabs in rock pools or watching the Punch and Judy show, the children's imaginations are bound to be captured by all the fun of their seaside experience.

Shakespeare drama sessions
These workshops bring Shakespeare's language, characters and storylines to life in a fun and creative way using movement and vocalisation.

Second World War
Drama workshop for KS2. Let your class find out what life was really like for children during the Second World War in this fast paced workshop. The children will recreate life on the Home Front with its air raids, blackouts and rationing. When they take on the role of evacuees they will experience the sad goodbyes, the exciting train journey and the strangeness of their new homes in the countryside.

Ancient Greece with Time Travel TV
Drama workshop for KS2. You are invited to go back in time to Ancient Greece to help launch the new TV channel - Time Travel TV. Episodes that need to be made include "I'm an Athenian, get me out of here!", which finds out how Ancient Athenians survived different lifestyles. Other episodes involve live talk shows, TV debates, Olympic athlete talent contests and celebrity gods.

Ancient Egyptian Challenge
Drama workshop for KS2. Welcome to the mysterious world of King Mentuhotep. This Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh might have reunited his country but he left a curse on his tomb… a curse which has already afflicted your tour guide. Can the children help lift the curse? Only if they can use clues and artefacts to unravel the secrets of Ancient Egypt, its people, its landscape, its gods and goddesses, kings and queens and the rituals of afterlife.

Thorgil the Viking
Meet the character workshop for KS2. Thorgil, the friendly Viking, recreates the arduous boat journey from Denmark, the daily chores of his Viking family and the important decision processes at the community court of law, the Thing. He shows off his fortune telling skills with magical runes and his storytelling skills when he recounts the exciting saga of Thor's Hammer.
